Zusammenfassung

Für das Verständnis der klinischen Symptome von Endokrinopathien an der Haut ist es wichtig, sich vor Augen zu führen, dass Hormone ihre Wirkungen im Sinne der Modifikation physiologischer Abläufe entfalten (Freinkel 1993; Grando 1993). Folglich werden in der Regel eher quantitative Veränderungen beobachtet, die u. U. erst nach einem Vergleich mit Vorbefunden festgestellt werden können. Hyperpigmentierungen bei chronischer Nebenniereninsuffizienz beispielsweise stellen sich lediglich als Akzentuierung bereits vorhandener Pigmentierung dar.
