Zusammenfassung

Das klinische Erscheinungsbild der Kolondivertikulitis ist außerordentlich facettenreich. Die Vielfalt der möglichen Symptome und die Fähigkeit, sich zu verbergen, legen den Vergleich zwischen der Symptomatik der Kolondivertikulitis und den Eigenschaften eines Chamäleons nahe. Im folgenden Beitrag werden neben den häufigen Symptomen und Komplikationen der Sigmadivertikulitis seltene Krankheitsbilder dargestellt, die auf eine Divertikelerkrankung zurückzuführen sind.
