Zusammenfassung
Bei der Bildgebung der Leber werden sehr häufig fokale Läsionen gefunden. Es ist jedoch nicht ausreichend, Leberherde lediglich nachzuweisen. Abhängig vom klinischen Kontext ist darüber hinaus eine möglichst sichere Charakterisierung der jeweiligen Läsion erforderlich, da hiervon in der Regel die grundsätzliche Entscheidung für das weitere therapeutische Vorgehen abhängt.
