Zusammenfassung

Da die Trigeminusneuralgie zu den unangenehmsten und quälendsten Schmerzzuständen überhaupt gehört, ist es nicht verwunderlich, dass seit 1858 destruierende Eingriffe auf unterschiedlichen Ebenen der Trigeminusafferenz eingesetzt werden (s. Tabelle 1).
