Zusammenfassung
Die Inzidenz des Zervixkarzinoms steigt kontinuierlich mit zunehmendem Alter bis zum 60. Lebensjahr. Danach zeigt sich keine weitere Zunahme [1]. Dagegen zeigt die altersspezifische Mortalitätsrate einen kontinuierlichen linearen Anstieg bis ins höchste Lebensalter [1] (Abb. 1). Die Diagnose Zervixkarzinom wird bei jüngeren Frauen häufiger im Frühstadium gestellt als bei älteren Frauen [2] (Abb. 2).
