Zusammenfassung
Die zytologische Untersuchung der Zellen im pathologisch veränderten Liquor cerebrospinalis ist essentieller Bestandteil einer jeden Liquoruntersuchung überhaupt. Durch die zunehmende Aussagekraft bildgebender Verfahren ist die Diagnostik primärer und sekundärer Hirntumoren auch ohne Zytologie zumeist ausreichend effizient.
