Zusammenfassung
Gefäßverletzungen bei Hüfttotalprothesenoperationen können potentiell lebensbedrohend sein, stellen aber in der Regel vor allem eine schwere Gefährdung des betroffenen Beins dar. Es handelt sich intraoperativ um offene oder verdeckte Massenblutungen, die zum Schock führen können, perioperativ um heimtückische, weil leicht zu übersehende thrombotische Gefäßverschlüsse und postoperativ um Pseudoaneurysmen und arterioarterielle Embolien, die zu einem Ischämiesyndrom des betroffenen Beins Anlass geben. In aller Regel sind besonders schlimme Bedrohungen bereits während oder am Ende des Eingriffs erkennbar. Später auftretende Folgen sind nicht akut lebensbedrohlich und es besteht die Möglichkeit, präzisere diagnostische Maßnahmen durchzuführen.
