Zusammenfassung
Im vorhergehenden Kapitel analysierten wir die durch den Außenhandel hervorgerufenen Änderungen von Faktorpreisen und Faktorangebot. In diesem Kapitel werden wir in umgekehrter Richtung vorgehen und fragen, welche Wirkungen exogene Faktorbestandsänderungen auf die Struktur des internationalen Handels haben. Dabei wollen wir auch untersuchen, welche Änderungen des Faktorausstattung erforderlich sind, um die Außenhandelsstruktur in bestimmter Weise zu beeinflussen. Dieser letzte Aspekt ist besonders wichtig für Länder, die sich in der wirtschaftlichen Entwicklung befinden und an der Frage interessiert sind, ob sie das Wirtschaftswachstum mehr oder weniger vom Außenhandel abhängig macht.
