Endogenous Growth

  • Chapter
International Economic Growth

Part of the book series: Contributions to Economics ((CE))

Abstract

This chapter deals with endogenous growth, putting special emphasis on the AK model. As a point of departure, in section 1, we shall take a closed economy. Then, in section 2, we shall proceed to a small open economy. Capital mobility will be either perfect or imperfect. And the country in question will be either a debtor or a ceditor. In section 3, we shall inquire into a two-country model. And finally, in section 4, we shall study an infinite horizon model.
