Zusammenfassung

Internationaler Handel und internationale Finanzbeziehungen sind zentrale Aspekte jeder modernen Volkswirtschaft. Für die Wirtschaft der Bundesrepublik ist die Einbindung in den Welthandel seit den fünfziger Jahren besonders prägend gewesen. Aber auch in den USA, vor 25 Jahren noch Beispielfall einer „geschlossenen“ Ökonomie, spielen internationale Fragen heute bei allen wirtschaftlichen Entscheidungen eine große Rolle.
