Zusammenfassung

Zu den Abwehrsystemen des menschlichen Organismus gehören die natürliche Resistenz, das unspezifische, myelo-monozytäre Immunsystem und das spezifische, klonal organisierte Immunsystem.

Es gibt… kaum eine Behauptung, die nicht auf Erfahrungen gegründet und wieder durch Erfahrungen widerlegt wäre. Unter diesen Umständen wird man der Theorie raten, zu warten, bis die Erfahrungen reifer sind; aber ich glaube vielmehr, daß die Erfahrungen, um zu reifen, des Lichtes einer vernünftigen Theorie bedürfen.
