Zusammenfassung

Tumorähnliche Läsionen des Thymus sind durchweg selten. Das gilt vor allem für entzündliche Pseudotumoren, die als Einzelkasuistiken echte Raritäten darstellen. Eine gewisse differentialdiagnostische Bedeutung besitzen thymogene Zysten in der Abgrenzung zystischer Mediastinalläsionen [z. B.: bronchogene, pleuro-perikardiale, enterogene Zysten, zystische Lymphangiome; vgl. auch S. 280 (Speer 1938; Krech et al. 1954; Ringertz U. Lidholm 1956; Froboese 1969)].
