Zusammenfassung

Primäre Knochentumore kommen sehr selten am Achsenskelett vor [5, 11, 14, 18]. Im „Leeds Bone Tumor Registry“ befanden sich 1990 nur 2,8% von 1950 primären Knochentumoren an der Wirbelsäule [7]. Die Stadieneinteilung ist schwierig [6], die diagnostische und therapeutische Strategie vielschichtig. Es wird daher dringend zur Behandlung dieser Patienten in Zentren mit entsprechenden Erfahrungen geraten.
