Zusammenfassung
Fentanyl war das erste einer Reihe von 4 Anilinopiperidin-Opiatagonisten und wurde in den 60er Jahren als im Vergleich zu Morphin 80mal potenteres Analgetikum in die Klinik eingeführt. 1983 wurde dann Alfentanil vorgestellt. Verglichen mit Fentanyl zeichnet es sich durch eine schnellere Anschlagzeit und eine kürzere Wirkdauer aus. Aufgrund seiner pharmakokinetischen und pharmakodynamischen Eigenschaften konnte es sich schnell in der Erwachsenenanästhesie etablieren.
