Zusammenfassung

Die epidemiologischen Daten von Veränderungen am Venensystem, respektive manifesten Erkrankungen, machen es unbedingt notwendig, dieses Problem, respektive Krankheitsbild, nicht zu ignorieren, sondern einer Bewusstseinsbildung in der Bevölkerung und im ärztlichen Bereich zuzuführen und dementsprechend eine adäquate Diagnostik und Therapie folgen zu lassen.
