Zusammenfassung

Die bildgebende Diagnostik mit MRT, MR Arthrografie, nativ CT und CT Arthrografie ermöglicht die Beantwortung nahezu aller Fragen nach morphologisch manifesten Erkrankungen des Schultergürtels. Aufgrund der verbesserten Technik bildgebender Verfahren fällt die Entscheidung, invasive Schulterdiagnostik (z. B. Arthroskopie) oder eine weniger oder nicht invasive Diagnostik mit einer der heute zur Diskussion stehenden Methoden durchzuführen, häufiger zugunsten der wenig invasiven Methoden aus. Die Operationsplanung kann meist allein auf der Grundlage von Anamnese, klinischer Untersuchung und moderner Bildgebung exakt durchgeführt werden.
