Zusammenfassung

Mehr als 40 konservative und operative Therapieansätze sind für die Epicondylopathia humeri radialis beschrieben worden, was darauf schließen läßt, daß eine kausale Therapieform bis heute nicht existiert (Chard u. Hazleman 1989). Da der Verlauf in der Regel benigne ist und viele Patienten, selbst ohne Therapie, innerhalb eines Jahres beschwerdefrei werden, haben konservative Maßnahmen immer Vorrang vor einem operativen Eingriff.
