Zusammenfassung

Eine 30jährige Patientin mit einem seit dem 6. Lebensjahr bekannten Diabetes mellitus 1 stellt sich in der Sprechstunde wegen häufiger, in letzter Zeit mehrfach täglich auftretender Hypoglykämien vor. Da-bei sei es in letzter Zeit auch vermehrt zu schweren Hypoglykämien gekommen, wobei die Patientin auf Fremdhilfe angewiesen war. Der Diabetes mellitus wird im Rahmen einer intensivierten Insulinthera-pie behandelt. Dabei spritzte die Patientin Basal-Insulin morgens 33 E und abends 8 E, Normal-Insulin bei Bedarf zusätzlich. Die Blut-zuckerwerte, die die Patientin selber bestimmte, hätten im Normbe-reich gelegen, waren jedoch nicht dokumentiert worden. Weitere Vorerkrankungen bestanden nicht.
