Zusammenfassung

Der Energieanteil der Verpackungswirtschaft am gesamten nationalen Energieverbrauch ist naturgemäß schwieriger zu ermitteln als ihr Kostenanteil. Er wurde für die Bundesrepublik Deutschland mit etwa 2,5% genannt (Heiss, 1981). Ähnliche Ziffern sind für USA (2,6) und für Schweden (2,0) bekannt.
