Abstract

It is important to describe the molecular weight distribution (MWD) of a polymer in order to understand its physical and chemical properties. Adhesion, toughness, tensile strength, brittleness, gas permeability, and environmental stress-crack resistance are a few of the many properties affected by MWD.
