Zusammenfassung

Viele amerikanische multinationale Unternehmer sind zur Zeit in Rußland aktiv, trotz der begegneten Turbulenzen in dieser Übergangswirtschaft. Die meisten scheinen zur Ausweitung ihrer globalen Strategien mit langfristigen Absichten dort eingetreten zu sein. Während einige mit beträchtlichen Komplikationen und großen Kapitalanlagen eintraten, schlugen andere einen vorsichtigeren und gewinnorientierten Weg ein. Dieser Artikel konzentriert sich darauf, wie sich die Strategien der multinationalen Unternehmen nach dem Markteintritt entwickelt-haben und beschreibt sechs strategische Vorgehensweisen. Die strategische Investitionsflexibilität eines Unternehmens beruht auf der Abhängigkeit von der ursprünglichen Eintrittsstrategie und Risikobereitschaft, sowie der Bewertung der rechtlichen und politischen Umwelt, den industriellen Bedingungen, dem Entwicklungsstand des Marktes, eigene Produkte oder Dienstleistungen aufzunehmen, der Konkurrenz und den benötigten Investitionen, um eine wettbewerbsfähige Position zu errichten.

Die Schlüssel zur erfolgreichen Strategieentwicklung werden aus den Erfahrungen der amerikànischen, multinationalen Unternehmen abgeleitet. Die Strategien solcher erfolgreichen multinationalen Unternehmen beinhalten normalerweise eine relativ schwere Investitionsposition.
