Abstract
After the Chernobyl catastrophe, the ecological situation in Ukraine is subject to the serious control. In the Sumy region (the North-East of Ukraine), a lot of chemical industry enterprises are allocated. Many of them are extremely in need of a thorough reconstruction and/or modernization, in order to diminish their influence upon the environment with gases, liquids, solid wastes, etc.
