Abstract
Seborrheic dermatitis, a specific inflammatory dermatosis involving the scalp, face and chest, and dandruff, its minor form, have been attributed to Pityrosporum ovale, a yeast fungal organism [1–3]. The purpose of this paper is to describe the results of a multicenter study using topical ciclopirox gel 0.77% for the treatment of seborrheic dermatitis of the scalp.
