Zusammenfassung

Wie alle invasiven Untersuchungen haben auch endoskopische Untersuchungen ihre Risiken, wobei die Infektionsrisiken seit der Zunahme von HIV von besonderer Bedeutung sind. Nachfolgend sollen Infektionsrisiken in der Endoskopie — getrennt für Patient und Personal — dargestellt, Maßnahmen zum Schutz vor Infektionen erörtert und das Vorgehen bei der hygienischen Aufbereitung von flexiblen Endoskopen erläutert werden.
