Zusammenfassung
„Die Struktur der japanischen Industrie und ihre bisherige Entwicklung ist nur verständlich, wenn man das besondere Verhältnis von Groß- und Kleinunternehmen in Japan kennt. Das Charakteristikum der japanischen Industrie ist das Nebeneinander von großen und modernsten Unternehmungen und einer Fülle von mittleren und kleineren Betrieben, deren technischer Standard oft sehr unzulänglich ist“ (1). Dieser Satz von K. Hax gilt heute noch.
