Zusammenfassung
Dieses Kapitel enthält in der Hauptsache Analysen der wichtigsten Marktformen, mit denen die Ergebnisse des 3. Kapitels vertieft werden. Vorweg wird als Maβstab zu ihrer Beurteilung das allgemeine mikroökonomische Gleichgewichtsmodell zusammen mit daran anknüpfenden Überlegungen zur Allokationseffizienz und Wohlfahrt in seinen Grundzügen vorgestellt. Das Modell beruht auf Annahmen über Verhaltensweisen der privaten Haushalte und Produktionsunternehmen, die bereits im 1. und 2. Kapitel diskutiert wurden und faβt diese mit dem Modell des vollkommenen Marktes aus dem 3. Kapitel zu einem einheitlichen, wenngleich idealisierten Gesamtbild des Wirtschaftsprozesses einer Marktwirtschaft zusammen. Teil II enthält dynamische Marktmodelle und zeigt damit Versuche, den Wirtschaftsprozeβ ausschnitt sweise im Zeitablauf zu verfolgen. In den Teilen III bis VI wird über weitere Analysen der wichtigsten Marktformen berichtet, wobei explizit berücksichtigt wird, daβ im Tauschverkehr auch Partner mit Marktmacht zusammentreffen und daβ nicht alle Teilnehmer die Rahmenbedingungen von Märkten als unverrückbare Daten ansehen. Das Kapitel schlieβt mit einer Diskussion der Unzulänglichkeiten des Allokationsverfahrens „Marktwirtschaft“. Deren prominenteste ist die Tendenz zur Wettbewerbsbeschränkung (Teil VII); über weitere wird in Teil VIII berichtet. Diese Überlegungen bilden den Ausgangspunkt und die Rechtfertigung für staatliche Eingriffe in die Allokation und leiten damit zum 5. Kapitel über.
