Evaluation of Total Fission Characteristics for 235U in the Low Energy Region

Conference paper
Part of the Research Reports in Physics book series (RESREPORTS)

Abstract

An energy conservation consistent evaluation of total fission characteristics for Jπ=4 neutron resonances of 235U has been performed on the basis of a phenamenological multimode model. Including the (n,γf) process, the total kinetic energy, average number of promptly emitted neutrons, multiplicity of γ-rays, and total energy of γ-rays for different resonances of uranium were calculated and compared with experimental data.
