Zusammenfassung
Die zentrale pontine Myelinolyse wurde 1959 von Adams et al. als eine „hitherto undescribed disease“ erstmalig beschrieben. Chason et al. (1964) verwiesen bereits darauf, daß dieser Prozeß nicht selten ist. Zusammenfassende Darstellungen erfolgten durch Schneck (1968), Paguirigan u. Lefken (1969) sowie Oppenheimer (1976).
