Abstract

Cognitive spectacles are a device that allows one to simultaneously observe a physical phenomenon and its graphic representation. This allows the student to grasp the phenomenon under study in both a sensory and symbolic way. This device also gives the student access to induction and to experimental deduction, since, by using a physical phenomenon, he is capable to construct its mathematical model and, conversely, in using this model, he can induce the underlying physical phenomenon.
