Abstract

It may be argued that control situations are inherently parallel in nature. It may also be argued that, as human beings, we inherently parallel process. Yet parallel processing is the domain of degree and post-graduate studies. Needthis be so?

This paper proposes an approach for makingconcurrent programming accessible to young children. The claimed benefit is that the approach more closely matches the problem to be solved, making it easier to understand and the program easier to use.
