Abstract
This paper discusses various aspects of human factors in robotic systems: robots versus humans, benefits and drawbacks of robotization from the standpoint of human factors, humans at risk from robots, built-in human biases, and human factors’ issues during the factory integration of robotic systems. A mathematical model to perform reliability analysis of a robot system with human error along with sources of human error data in robotics are presented.
