Zusammenfassung
In diesem Kapitel wird das Prinzip der hierarchischen Produktionsplanung anhand von zwei ausgewählten Modellen dargestellt sowie die bisherige Entwicklung dieses Lösungsansatzes nachgezeichnet. Ausgangspunkt ist das am M.I.T. als Fallstudie bei einem Reifenhersteller, d.h. für eine Mehrproduktfirma mit einstufiger, losweiser Produktion und saisonabhängiger Nachfrage, entwickelte Modell von Hax und Meal (1975), das in Abschnitt 3.1 als Grundmodell vorgestellt wird.
