Zusammenfassung

Die massivste und schwerste Form der Akne ist die Acne conglobata. Sie ist eine zerstörende, vernarbende, spektakuläre Erkrankung, die zu entsetzlicher Entstellung führen kann. Die Opfer fühlen und verhalten sich oft wie leprös gestrafte Patienten. Einmal gesehen, vergißt man Acne conglobata nicht wieder. Sie wird unter dem Akronym SAPHO (Syndrom, Acne conglobata, Pustulosis palmoplantaris, Hyperostosis, Osteitis) erwähnt.
