Zusammenfassung

Bei zellulären, immunologischen Funktionstesten handelt es sich um Testverfahren, die entweder Verteilung, Größe, Morphologie oder Aktivitätsgrad von immunkompetenten Zellen ex vivo analysieren oder zelluläre Funktionsanalysen nach In-vitro-Kultur beinhalten. Die analysierten Zellen werden häufig aus dem peripheren Blut gewonnen, können aber auch aus Bronchiallavage, Gelenkerguß, Lymphknotenpunktionen etc. stammen. Neben den verschiedenen Lymphozyten werden vor allem auch Monozyten/Makrophagen, dendritische Zellen, eosinophile, neutrophile und basophile Granulozyten untersucht.
