Zusammenfassung

Periprothetische Frakturen des Kniegelenkes sind selten und bedürfen, insbesondere wegen des Alters der Patienten, deren Gebrechlichkeit und Osteoporose, eines Therapiekonzeptes, welches möglichst die sofortige Mobilisation erlaubt. Unterschiedlichste Verfahren der Frakturversorgung wurden angewendet. An der Tibia ist der intramedulläre Kraftträger mittels Schaftverlängerung die Alternative der Wahl, am Femur ist prothesen- und frak-turlokalisationsabhängig die bevorzugte Wahl die Schaftverlängerung, der retro- oder anterograde Nagel oder die Kondylenplatte mit Spongiosaan-lagerung.
