Zusammenfassung
Die operative Behandlung rheumatischer Kniegelenke bei jungen Patienten weist einige gelenkspezifische Besonderheiten auf. Zum Einen ist hier die schlechte Knochenqualität zu nennen, die bedingt ist durch Zystenbildung, durch den destruierenden Effekt von Prostaglandinen und Zytokinen sowie durch die katabole Wirkung von Steroiden im Rahmen der Rheumatherapie.
