Zusammenfassung

Die vorliegenden Leitlinien zur Implantation von Defibrillatoren wurden in Überarbeitung der Leitlinien der Deutschen Gesellschaft für Kardiologie, Herz und Kreislaufforschung, wie sie 1993 publiziert worden sind, erstellt, basierend auf einer sorgfältigen Analyse der wissenschaftlichen Daten zur aktuellen Therapie ventrikulärer Tachyarrhythmien. Auch in Zukunft sollen diese Leitlinien in regelmäßigen Abständen revidiert werden, wenn der wissenschaftliche Erkenntnisstand dies erforderlich macht.

Die Leitlinien der Deutschen Gesellschaft für Kardiologie werden ständig von der klinischen Kommission auf ihre Aktualität überprüft.
