Zusammenfassung
Aufgrund der Größe der darzustellenden Strukturen war die MRT am Fuß viele Jahre technisch schwierig und vor allem schwer zu interpretieren. Mit der Entwicklung neuer und stärkerer Geräte wurde die MRT auch für den Fuß interessant. Insgesamt ist der Algorithmus der Diagnostik von Erkrankungen am Fuß nicht unterschiedlich der Diagnostik anderer Köregionen. Am Beginn jeder Abklärung steht eine genaue Anamnese mit einer sorgfôltigen klinischen Untersuchung. Als nächster Schritt wird ein Nativröntgenbild in 2 Ebenen (meist dorsoplantar und seitlich) des betroffenen Areals durchgeführt. Mit diesen 3 Werkzeugen der Diagnostik kann in einem hohen Prozentsatz die Diagnose gestellt werden. Als weitere Hilfsmittel stehen noch Ultraschall und Szintigraphie zur Verfügung. Eine MRT ist meist zur weiteren Abklärung unklarer Erkrankungen oder zur präoperativen planung indiziert. In diesem Kapitel sollen häufige Erkrankungen am Fuß und deren Abklôrung in der MRT besprochen werden (Tabelle 1).
