Zusammenfassung

In der Vergangenheit wurden unter dem Begriff des komplexen Ellenbogentraumas Frakturen zusammengefasst, deren operative Versorgung technisch anspruchsvoll war. Dies betraf insbesondere die C2- und C3-Frakturen des distalen Humerus, unabhängig vom Grad der begleitenden Weichteilschädigung und ungeachtet der Präsenz von Etagenfrakturen oder primären Nerven- oder Gefäßläsionen.
