Zusammenfassung

Mit der Magnetresonanztomographie können die Geschwindigkeit und das Volumen fließenden Blutes quantitativ auf der Grundlage der Phasenkontrasttechnik bestimmt werden. Diese Technik ist in den Kapiteln 3 und 4 detailliert beschrieben. Aus den Messungen werden zwei Bilddatensätze erstellt: ein anatomisches (Modulus) und ein geschwindigkeitskodiertes (Phasenkontrast)Bild. Im Phasenkontrastbild sind die Geschwindigkeiten der Spins in den Voxel als Grauwerte kodiert. Unbewegliche Spins erhalten eine graue Parbe, sich auf den Betrachter zu bewegende Bildpunkte sind helIer, sich vom Betrachter weg bewegende Bildpunkte dunkler kodiert (s. Abb. 19.1). Das jeweilige Signal (dunkel oder hell) ist direkt proportional zur Flussgeschwindigkeit.
