Zusammenfassung

Die Standzeiten von Knieendoprothesen können heute als ausgesprochen akzeptabel bezeichnet werden. Überlebensraten bewegen sich in einem Rahmen von 80% bis über 95% bei Zeiträumen von mehr als 10 Jahren [9, 14, 19, 23]. Im Hinblick auf die Langzeitergebnisse besteht, neben anderen beeinflussenden Faktoren, eine enge Beziehung zwischen der Wiederherstellung normaler Achsverhältnisse der unteren Extremität und den erreichbaren Langzeitergebnissen. Mithin ist die korrekte Ausrichtung endoprothetischer Komponenten am Kniegelenk eine wesentliche Voraussetzung für deren Langlebigkeit [1, 4, 5, 8, 12, 21, 23].
