Zusammenfassung

Bei fortgeschrittener Gonarthrose kann mit einem endoprothetischen Kniegelenkersatz die Lebensqualität betroffener Patienten oft sehr positiv beeinflusst werden. Obwohl die Weiterentwicklung entsprechender Implantate und Op-Techniken mittlerweile zu recht guten klinischen Ergebnissen geführt hat, stellt jedoch die begrenzte Standzeit der Endoprothesen noch ein Problem dar.
