Abstract

This chapter describes an optimisation model for deterministic resource-constrained project scheduling with generalised precedence constraints. It introduces the basic elements of project scheduling models such as activities, resources, precedence constraints, as well as performance measures for evaluating the cost or utility of a schedule.
