Zusammenfassung
Obwohl heute die meisten Unternehmen das Internet für geschäftliche Zwecke einsetzen, finden Auftragsabwicklung Bezahlung und Aufgaben rund um die physische Zustellung der Produkte vielfach nicht elektronisch statt. Gegenüber kostenintensiven und proprietären EDI-Lösungen bieten Internet-basierte elektronische Services standardisierte Dienste und Schnittstellen. Für die relevanten waren-, finanz-und informationslogistischen Abwicklungsprozesse entstehen mit eLogistics-, ePayments-und eFulfillment-Services erste Lösungen. Jedoch konzentrieren sich diese Services jeweils nur auf einen Teilprozess und bieten keine integrierte Gesamtlösung. Ausgehend vom aktuellen Stand in den Teilprozessen stellt dieser Beitrag die Rechnung in den Mittelpunkt der Geschäftsabwicklung und untersucht die Möglichkeiten von Electronic Bill Presentment & Payment (EBPP) Services zur integrierten Geschäftsabwicklung.
