Zusammenfassung

Auf dem herkömmlichen Thoraxröntgenbild wer-den das Herz, die Lungen und die Hauptschlagader (Aorta) zweidimensional abgebildet. In einer Röntgenröhre werden Röntgenstrahlen erzeugt, die die Brustorgane durchdringen und schließlich auf einer strahlenempfindlichen Schicht wie z.B. einem Film sichtbar gemacht werden, ähnlich wie bei einer Photographie. Auf solch einem Film sind die Umrisse des Herzens und die Struktur der Lungen gut erkennbar.
