Zusammenfassung

Radiologische Veränderungen der Arthrosis deformans sind bei 90% der über 40-jährigen nachweisbar (Kellgren 1961, Lowman 1955). Am häufigsten ist das Kniegelenk betroffen (Heine 1926). Bei den Betroffenen zeigt sich die Arthrose hauptsächlich durch verminderte Gelenkfunktion, Schmerzen und Arbeitsunfähigkeit (Wagenhäuser 1976).
