Zusammenfassung
Die Hoffnungen und Befürchtungen, die mit den Neuerungen der E-Economy verbunden werden, sind vielfältig und widersprechen sich häufig. Dies gilt für den Bereich der Ethik ebenso wie für den der Ökonomie. Erwartungen bezüglich der ethischen Voraussetzungen für die erfolgreiche Ausbreitung der E-Economy oder aber bezüglich der Konsequenzen einer solchen Ausbreitung formulieren Entscheider mit Hilfe von Alltagstheorien, Wissenschaftler im Rahmen der akademischen Theoriebildung. In der Wissenschaft herrscht dabei das in der Neoklassik entwickelte Modell des optimierenden Homo Oeconomicus vor. Auch in der Praxis, speziell in den Entwicklungslabors der Software-Industrie, dominieren häufig Optimierungsmodelle. Optimierungsmodelle erfassen nur unzureichend jene Merkmale, welche die EEonomy prägen: Kommunikation und Kooperation. Die Beurteilung und Debatte wirtschaftsethischer Probleme der E-Economy wird durch die häufig fehlende theoretische Grundlage erschwert. Daher stellen wir hier Ansatzpunkte vor, welche ein verbessertes Verstehen der komplexen E-EconomyPhänomene ermöglichen.
