Abstract
Within the framework of this subproject of TRACT, hourly data of anthropogenic emissions of NMVOC species, NOx, CO and SO2 are generated in grids of 1 km × 1 km for the period from 9th to 22nd September 1992. The investigation area includes the German federal state of Baden-Württemberg, southern parts of the federal states of Rheinland-Pfalz and Hessen, as well as northern parts of Switzerland and the departments Haut-Rhine and Bas-Rhine in France. The emission inventory is needed as an input for modelling the atmospheric transport and transformation of air pollutants in this region.
