Zusammenfassung

Morbus Crohn und Colitis ulcerosa sind chronisch entzündliche Darmerkrankungen, deren Ätiologie nicht geklärt ist. Sie sind überwiegend im Kolon lokalisiert und manifestieren sich durch Diarrhöen, die häufig blutig sind. Zahlreiche extraintestinale Manifestationen können vor oder zusammen mit dem Auftreten intestinaler Symptome das klinische Bild prägen.
