Zusammenfassung

Atrophe Gastritis bezeichnet eine Magenschleimhautentzündung mit Atrophie des Drüsenkorpers. Im engeren Sinn wird darunter die Autoimmungastritis verstanden, bei der es im Rahmen einer Autoimmunreaktion gegen Parietalzellen zur Magenschleimhautatrophie mit Achlorhydrie, verminderter Intrinsic-factor-Bildung und perniziöser Anämie aufgrund eines Vitamin-B 12-Mangels kommt.
